My ethnicity is Indonesia, but it was adopted as a child and my family is white. I am the skin a little darker (my father likes to call me "Jungle Princess," I think its awesome lol) and everyone seems to be incredibly fascinating. What is it? I never thought I was special.

Certainly nothing special. Most Asians prefer white skin, because despised in some Asian countries, with dark skin color. You are lucky to be in an Asian country. In my experience, if you will that what is being said by a black, usually identify with you somehow. I always see as a way to recruit people from the black race, and possibly redefine the race. I do so with the Indians. They should enjoy their own beauty, without trying to falsify the identity of another ethnic group. I like all these races are incredible.
